One More Thing

Okay, this is the last you'll hear about it, at least for today, but tonight we had meatloaf, mashed potatoes and broccoli, all made using, you guessed it- the once-useless stove!

Isn't it amazing what a little bit of comfort food can do for the body and the soul?

You cooked broccoli for Russ? Good girl! And good boy for eating it. You know how the Turners feel about broccoli--it's the wonder vegetable:-)

So glad you can cook now--you'll really start feeling more settled.

Love,
Mom

Glad to hear you finally got the stove going. Now Russ can quit building cook fires in the middle of the living room! (Of course, as life has its ironies, we had raw broccoli tonight).

Wow! Now I can send you the recipes I've been gathering that sounded tropical. I'll send up praise for the oven!
